Dr. Nathalie Maréchal is the Managing Policy Director at the Institute for Information, the Internet, and Democracy (IIID). Based in Washington, DC, Dr. Maréchal leads IIID’s policy work, ensuring that the Institute’s research has real-world impact. Before joining IIID in 2026, Dr. Maréchal worked at the Center for Democracy & Technology and at Ranking Digital Rights. She holds a PhD in Communication from the University of Southern California.
